This jacket is too tight in the arms and shoulders to wear layers underneath it. I love the way Salomon shoes fit me, but alas, this hoodie is sized more for juniors than people my age. I would recommend ordering a size larger than normal. The fabric is thicker, bulkier and heavier than most layering jackets that I use in the winter under my parka.
